Confession yields healing,

spawned by forgiveness.
Freedom preciously gifted,
a gateway branded and refined by
love
of the purest and greatest form,
its shackles unlatched by faith.
Washed clean by crimson,
and saved by scars,
pain has bore peace.
For we are offered redemption
redeemed by love.
The ultimate sacrifice:
the Son for His children;
we are made new.
For our confession allows renewal,
and forgiveness rains like a might flood.
We are His creation;
we are made free.

"15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."
{James 5:15-16}

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
{1 John 1:9}

"Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper,
    but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy."
{Proverbs 28:13}

"21 Again Jesus said, 'Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.' 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, 'Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.'”
{John 20:21-23}
