Not everyone can have eyes that pierce;
drilling through your synthetic barricade.
You can't see them.
But they can still see you.
Insecurities exposed;
visibly inhibiting.
Cowering beneath a stare
of irises intending no harm;
yet possessing intimidation.
What have you to fear?
Just because it remains unspoken,
doesn't conclude that it goes unnoticed.
You are glass;
transparent and fragile.
Glare long enough,
and this core you've secluded to shall shatter.

I wish my eyes were as piercing as this one in the picture. Golly day I can only imagine
